Les Paul

Jedson Les Paul Custom

This model has been found in several colors and veneer styles. The most frequently discovered samples are all black and Flame Maple top and maple back.

The Jedson LPs  are of Aria/Matsumoku origin, the "Steel Adjustable Neck" stamped plate appears to be unique to that factory. Serial numbers on these plates are random, so it's not possible to tell what year they were made - however they're pre-75, possibly earlier.

Aria (or Shiro Arai Co) made the very first Japanese LP copies in 1968, these I'd say are maybe 71 or 72 - round fingerboard end, position markers up to the 17th fret, shallow neck pocket, and the "solid" stop-bar on the black one all indicate early, less accurate copies.
